Dr. Tuhinsubhra Giri
Dr. Tuhinsubhra Giri is a fellow at Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi since May, 2022. He completed his M.Phil. (Economics) from Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar in 2015 and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was "Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Industrial Clusters: A Study of Differences and Disparities between Clusters in India"
Prior to joining RIS, he was working as young professional in Labour Bureau, Chandigarh under Ministry of Labour and Employment, GOI. He also served at Centre for Regional Trade, CRIT, New Delhi as research fellow. In 2015, he was working as project associate in Gujarat Institute of Development Research, Ahmedabad. His research interest areas are International trade, Industrial organization, and Employment. He published his research in academic journals, working papers, edited volumes and research reports. He has participated in academic conferences and many training programme and workshops in the field of economics and research methodology. He is skilled in handling both primary and secondary data (Unit level data of NSS, ASI, PLFS, Economic Census, WITS and UN Comtrade).
